I own a small chain of restaurants in
central Vermont and I usually run the cash registers. With that job I see a lot
of cards, and I mean a lot! Several times I was presented Blue from
American Express and I inquired about the Card. Without exception, everyone was
very, very excited about the Card and all the features - not mention the overall
appearance of the Card (super cool). So I inquired...I applied... and yes,
I now have a new Blue account. I have been a long-time American
Express Corporate Cardmember, and have an American Express Small Business
Business Credit line account, but now I have the Blue from American Express that
offers tremendous benefits (plus I love the ways it looks). In the restaurant
business we are always proud to accept any American Express Card.

I havn't yet used my Blue in Europe
yet, but I sure am looking forward to it this summer. The Card is absolutely
amazing. I still drool over the Card. And so do the merchants. People go crazy
for it.

Blue's Great... I recently bought
a hand held organizer and had it price matched to get the lowest price
guarantee. The process was the simplest of all. I just had to fax in the details
and got my check in a week. Now I'll use my Blue always to buy since I'm
guaranteed the best and lowest price for 90 days. Keep it up.

Blue works extremely well with my
American Express Cards. I have a choice now, I can pay my bill at the end of the
month or carry a balance, and it can all be done with the same company. Not to
mention what it says when you pull out an American Express Card anyway: it says
you pay your bills and you're in control over your finances.

My favorite color is blue and nearly
everything I own is blue and I couldn't believe it when I realized that American
Express came out with Blue. The Card looks awesome, very hip and different from
all the cards out there. It's in a class of it's own. I must say that American
Express Customer Service is THE BEST! They are friendly and efficient. I
particularly like the BlueLootSM program. I definitely will be
charging everything to my Card from now, especially those online purchases.

This summer my teenage son was
begging me to take him to see his favorite music group play in concert. The band
was Creed. I finally gave in and purchased the tickets online using Blue. Much
to our surprise they sent us a free CD of the artist we purchased tickets for.
Well, the day finally arrived to go to the show. The ticket confirmation Web
page instructed us to go to the Blue will-call window. As we approached the
venue we were all taken back by the huge crowd waiting to enter concert. We then
easily found the Blue will-call window and it only had one person in line. Two
minutes later we had our tickets in hand and were headed to the back of the long
lines to enter. I have always hated lines with a passion. Then the lady at the
window instructed us to proceed to the Blue entrance. There it was. A special
entrance just for Cardmembers with Blue and to all our delight - NO LINES!!! We
just walked right up, showed our tickets and Blue, and we were in. We had
successfully bypassed all lines. Everyone with me was thoroughly impressed.

Just a funny story. I ordered
contacts from an optical store. When they came in I wanted to pay with Blue from
American Express. The cashier took the card and swiped it. He then proceeded to
look at it for several minutes checking out how, "cool the Card looked". He even
showed it to another worker in the store. They were both impressed with the
"cool looking Card." I guess your design is as good as your service.

I'm always amazed at the reaction I
receive every time I use Blue. Though American Express has been around for
decades and has modified its appearance several times, the creator of Blue must
be commended because this Card is symbolic of a "very welcomed addition" to the
American Express family. Of all the cards I've seen, especially those with very
beautiful artwork, I must say that Blue from American Express is definitely "the
card of the 21st century". The first time I used it, the merchant made such a
fuss about it, I thought they were cooing over a newborn baby. Well American
Express, Bravo for a Job Well Done. I'm proud to be a Blue from American Express
Cardmember, and totally adore the attention we both get.

I was buying a suit for an interview
at a store and I was looking at some things at the POS display thinking "Why is
this taking so long?" I looked at the sales associate and she was staring at
Blue, moving it back and forth in the light and pretty much gawking at it. She
said, "what's this?" I said "Oh, that's the new Blue from American Express." She
said, "I've never seen this before!" This story loses something without me being
able to replicate the amazement in her voice!

I first thank American Express for
producing such a great looking card. Let me tell you I've never seen people so
amazed when I present Blue. It just surprises me! I was out on a date and we
went to see a movie. Anyway as the employee was waiting for the transaction to
go through, a friend of his commented on the card saying how COOL it was. I
said, "yeah, it's Blue from American Express. I have to say it feels good to be
complimented on your credit card, let me tell you! It's not the first time and

I had a credit card from another
company that I signed up for at a baseball game. I started using it and had it
for about three years. When Blue was introduced, there was a billboard for it
that I walked past many times on my way to work. I had also heard some things
about it, how it was different from other cards, and I decided to check it out.
I researched it on the Internet and liked the BlueLootSM feature and
the design of the actual Card. I applied for a Card and got in the next couple
of weeks. More times than not, when I use it to make a purchase, someone catches
a glimpse of it and asks about it and I become a salesperson for Blue. I really
like the Blue Web site also, it's really easy to use and friendly. All around,
I'm happy with Blue. This is the second "Blue" in my life, my first car was a
car that I nicknamed "Blue".

I really love it when I give a
merchant Blue and they look at my name on the Card (which is also Blue) and they
get the funniest look on their face...sometimes they make a comment, but their
expression is always priceless. Besides all the wonderful benefits of the Blue,

My family and I just returned from
Greece. While there, I used Blue for hotels, rental car, etc. Every time I gave

I received my Blue one-week before I
left for my 2 month European vacation. Needless to say, I used it wherever I
could, especially with the 0% interest for 6 months. I remember paying for my
scuba diving lessons in Greece with it. When I pulled it out, the diving
instructor was holding it to the light and staring at it. He called his brother
over to come look at it too, and asked me if HE could have one!

From the first time I saw a
commercial of Blue. I fell in love. I got my card 2 days ago and activated it
immediately. You should see the expressions on my friend's faces whenever they
see it. Their jaws drop to say nonetheless. Immediately they bring up that Amex
is not a credit card, but I immediately say that no, I can pay over time. "Yeah
and I bet the % is about 50 eh?" when I tell them the starting APR and the
standard, their jaws drop.

There's not much I can add to
everybody's raves about BLUE. I enjoy the added security benefits when shopping
online. But mostly I love to use it offline for charges just so I see that
widening of the eyes of all cashiers that I give it to swipe. So far, every time
I use BLUE to pay for anything, cashiers always note on how uniquely pretty it
the card is. I've even had a few people actually ask me if it is a real credit
card!! I'm proud to say yep, just check on the back for the AMEX logo. I've had
a Personal Card for a year and I've recently been lucky enough to have been
granted a Gold Card! But I still plan on using my BLUE along with my other

First of all, BLUE is MY favorite
color. I love everything blue. Recently, I've been buying more online and of
course, feeling concerned about the security issues. And then, when surfing, I
came across an advertisement for BLUE. Once I read the benefits and

I would like to start off by saying
the staff at the American Express (Blue) is the best I've seen. They are
courteous, helpful and knowledgeable...I could go on and on. I had a another
credit card. I wanted to book a trip using this card, but I didn't want to pay
17.99% interest. So, I called them twice and asked them to lower my rate and
they refused. I decided I needed a new card to replace this other card with the
high interest rate. I checked out a number of different cards and what they had
to offer, when a co-worker told me about Blue. I was so impressed with the low
rates, BlueLoot and all of the other benefits I just had to have one. Before
even receiving my new Blue I called the other company and canceled my other card
and told them they could learn something from American Express on how to treat
good customers.

Hi, my name is Blue, well my nickname
anyway...so of course when I saw a credit card with my name, I had to have it.
And to make it better, it was by American Express. I have had Blue since
September, and I love it. To start off with it, the card just looks cool.
Secondly, I am a huge Internet buyer and the added security that both the card
and the free Card Reader that American Express sent, gives me the peace of mind
that I didn't have with other cards. In October, I purchased a Blue Jeep, not
surprisingly, and have made several purchases with my Blue from online catalogs

I have a hobby. I love my hobby.
Living thousands of miles away from my hobby makes it hard to enjoy. Being a
saltwater fish and reef fanatic means that almost all my supplies and fish have
to come over Internet mail order houses. First, seeing the "We Take American
Express" banner makes me comfortable shopping at certain sites. Second, not
having to worry about some young computer hacker stealing my credit card number
online makes me sleep better. If I couldn't order comfortably over the
Internet...my enjoyment in the hobby would suffer. I couldn't do it with out

use it at Costco, and there is no annual fee. It is useful to have Amex on
international travels, too, but since we're hardly swingers, we'd seldom need
the fine features you charge annual fees for. For years we have received credit

THIS ISNT SO MUCH A STORY OF WHY BLUE
IS RIGHT FOR ME BUT INSTEAD A COMMENT on THE REACTIONS I GET WHEN USING IT. I
feel like I am in the middle of an AE commercial almost every time I use it.
People keep asking what card it is, comment on how pretty it is and where can
they get one. The other day, while paying for car repairs the cashier, went
through all of these questions as well the "HOW much does it cost"? When I told
her it was free she was amazed. She kept saying and it is an American Express
Card? Where can I get one...I do not know who designed this card's looks but
they did an excellent job. It is constantly noticed! I never had a credit card
checked out for its looks before! It is definitely a work of art. Just thought
you'd like to know the response this card is getting. By the way, I think the
smart reader for WEB purchases is also a GREAT idea!

Blue is actually a little
embarrassing to use sometimes because it looks so neat! :) I usually have to
hide my card until the last minute, because the deep metallic blue square always
draws attention. But, I have to admit, after the first few times, I began

I travel a lot internationally. On my
trip to London last month, I used Blue as my primary card - Merchant, after
Merchant commented on the unique design - the best I think was when a store
clerk showed the card to one of her colleagues and then used the blue hologram
to check on her lipstick! - Whoever knew a card could be so flexible.

Electronic linkage to Quicken is a
dream! Blue eliminates my transaction entry keying at the end of the month while
providing current transaction data whenever I want it. Your Customer Service
group is great to work with and very knowledgeable re Quicken procedures. Blue
went from a curiosity to my primary credit card. The card also looks cool!

I already have the American Express
Gold Card, and by having Blue from American Express, I have the best of both
worlds. The Gold Card is the Card that I use for most of my charge card
transactions, and I like it because it is recognized around the world. I used it
on my 25th wedding anniversary when my wife & I took a Caribbean cruise.
It's great to whip out the American Express card in a tiny little shop in
Cozumel Mexico, and in a larger resort such as Ohos Rios Jamaica. No hesitation
was encountered in either case. I also like it because I need to pay it off the
following month. Now if I want to carry a balance, Blue affords me the
opportunity to do so while using American Express, not any other "regular" card.
Regarding the Membership Rewards Program, I also linked my Blue with my Gold
Card to collect even more points. This really is having the best of both worlds;
I may even cancel my other cards because I don't need them now.

arrived, I presented my card, and the waitress said. Oh. I have never seen an

Well, since BLUE is my favorite color
I simply had to have BLUE. When my BLUE eyes spotted BLUE in the mailbox, I
rushed to open it. I was excited by the techie/futuristic look and wanted to use
it immediately. I made reservations at my favorite restaurant, BLUE Ginger in
Wellesley, and put on my best BLUE outfit and headed out for dinner. I ordered
the house salad with BLUE cheese dressing, followed by some delicious BLUE point
oysters, a BLUE martini, and an entree of BLUE fish. I simply couldn't resist
the BLUEberry pie for desert. And I certainly was not BLUE when the evening came
to an end; because I had BLUE to cover the tab. (Do you think it would be all
right if I ordered YELLOWfin tuna the next time?)

My lovely wife and me are newly
married. We got married on a boat at Pittsburgh, PA, where thee rivers meet. It
was wonderful. We were able to manage all the expenses including wedding,

Blue was the best rate I switched
from card to card to obtain the best APR rate. I was surprised to find American
Express beat all the other cards. It even beat my credit union so I closed all
my higher APR cards and transferred all balances to Blue. It beat all other
credit cards especially with its impressive low rates. I'm puzzled why your card
is never mentioned in Money Magazine, as one of the best rate cards. Again thank
you for approving me and helping me reorganizing my credit. I know plenty of
other people I've spoken with would like to take advantage of this low rate,
perhaps you should have a referral web site.

vendors online. Its online protection and price guarantee allows a lot of
flexibility on where I could shop online. The smart card reader keeps my credit

in a story, but It sure was fun using Blue while in Sydney, Australia this past
March 22,00 to April 4, 00. They had never seen one like mine and I got all
kinds of comments. Like Wow where did you get that card. Sure looks neat to me.
All were very eager to see and look at Blue from American Express. I had a ball
using it over there and People from the Land of OZ, (Australians) were more than
happy to take it and gladly make my purchases with it. I just thought you might
like to hear this story and the impression I made on them while in Sydney,
Australia. Thanks for such a wonderful card and your staff is super too, I might
add. Thank you Blue. Hope you can use this, as it really was quite funny to see
all the attention I got while presenting this new card to them for use. By the
way my middle name is Blue, also! So I am impressed with all aspects of your
wonderful BLUE!

I used an American Express card
before. I was very happy with the service and the accuracy of the system. When
Blue came to the market, I liked what I heard about it and since blue is my
favorite color I did not hesitate to apply for one. I expect the great service
of American Express to continue whether the color is blue, yellow, or green.

"IT'S COOL TO HAVE BLUE" Every time I
whip out Blue, the waiter/waitress, sales person say "ohhh". They think it's a
very unusual card. I always get a comment (positive) about the card and how cool
it is. Now with BlueLoot it's better than my other card and has become my

I have been an American Express fan
since I started extensive work- related travel nearly 15 years ago. The American
Express quality helped on many long days of travel. Now, I don't have to travel
as much--but I still want that quality and reliability in a credit card that
allows a balance. I am transferring my last "traditional" credit card balance to
Blue. Now I can fully say, if a business won't take an American Express
card...they don't want my business.I won’t use anything else.

Nothing too glamourous, Blue is just
a great option for those of us just out of grad school, who need to consolidate

I was very nervous applying on-line
for BLUE. Then, a week later, I received a mailing congratulating me on being
approved for BLUE. Today, it has been realized. I GOT BLUE. BLUE is an awesome
confluence of SMART technology and GREAT deals. The other guys are GREEN with
envy when I show them BLUE.

I have a great idea! There is a song
out that goes "I'm blue....da...di...da...." and the whole song is about the
color blue. Its really big here in NY. What a great idea for a Blue from
American Express commercial...I could see it now!!! I know its a great idea...I
told all my friends...the song fits PERFECT to Blue.

My Blue came at a great time!! My new
husband and I had just bought an older house to fix up. We needed the money to
buy new flooring but didn't have enough cash. With low rates, and the credit
limit we were allowed, we were able to buy what we needed to put new floors in.
Hopefully we will be in our "new" house by the end of January!!

Every time I present my Blue to
merchants, I wait for their reaction. Almost every merchant is surprised by this
Card. I enjoy watching them look at my Card and calling on their co-workers to
see the Card. Many asked for more information about Blue. Overall, I think that
Blue is the Card for the 21st. Century. The Smart Card Reader is another step
toward the right direction. I am very much pleased with Blue from American
Express.

I liked the concept of the card and I
loved the introductory commercials. I wasn't sure if I could use the card like a
regular American Express Card because it appeared not to have a magnetic stripe
on the back. It has a silver stripe with printing on it instead of the normal
brown stripe. I charged my first dinner with the card and noticed that the
server swiped the Card through the magnetic stripe reader just like a regular
credit card. I was pleased that the card did not require a smart card interface
at the retailer site to be usable. I haven't had any problems and it is great to
be an American Express Cardmember again.

I am a proud Blue from American
Express Card holder and also just bought the new Third Eye Blind CD entitled
"Blue" (I used my Blue to purchase it). I think American Express should sponsor
Third Eye Blind's upcoming tour, the "Blue Tour." Your/their demographics
probably overlap strongly. The Blue card image is very closely alligned with the
band's audience: young, hip, community.
You could tie in the Smart Chip
functionality as well. Tickets could be downloaded from the web to the chip or
Blue card purchases could earn points for Third Eye Blind Blue album-related
merchandise to be purchased either on-line or at the concert.

I got the Card and immediately felt a
surge of power going through my whole body. I felt that I could conquer my fear
of e-commerce finally! I swiped the card in the reader and began to shop. Then I
began buying randomly, fearlessly and dare I say - boldly as my desire to obtain

I am a professional triathlete aiming
to break the American Ironman Triathlon Record in 2000(a 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile
bike and 26.2-mile marathon all under 8 hours.) I would be the first American
and the fourth man in history to break the 8-hour barrier. As you might imagine,
Ironman is generally regarded as the toughest one-day sporting race in the
world. I am taking my shot at the record on June 27, 2000 in Roth, Germany.
I also host a TV show on The Discovery Channel and published my first
book, Pocket Personal Coach. I am using Blue for the unbridled flexibility and
independence! I race around the world, and I will use my new Blue everywhere I
go!
